Inner Fortress Falls Within

Isaiah 25:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 25 in context

Scripture Focus

12And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
Isaiah 25:12

Biblical Context

The verse declares that the fortress of the high fort of thy walls will be brought down to dust. It speaks of inner defenses, not external walls, being toppled.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold the fortress as a figure of your present consciousness—defenses, rationalizations, and pride that say, 'I must protect this self.' In the I AM within, the dawning of true awareness dissolves the high fort; the towers crumble and you are left in dust, which is simply a belief that can drop away. The destruction is not punishment but the clearing of space for your real self to awaken, the memory of separation dissolving into unity with the divine in you. As you dwell as the I AM, you reinterpret the fortress as illusion that yields to awareness. When you imagine you are consciousness and not circumstance, the fortress collapses, and you walk in freedom where once you stood in defense. This is the inner providence and guidance Isaiah promised, now made real through your own feeling-reality of consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, declare 'I am the I AM,' and imagine the fortress of your current belief system dissolving into dust. Rest in the spacious awareness that follows.
