Inner Fortresses Crumbled

Isaiah 25:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 25 in context

Scripture Focus

11And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
12And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
Isaiah 25:11-12

Biblical Context

The verses describe pride being toppled and the fortress of defense laid low. It mirrors the inner mind: outer power dissolves when the I AM awakens.

Neville's Inner Vision

Isaiah 25:11-12 is a map of the inner harvest. The “spreading of hands” is the I AM extending awareness through every corner of consciousness, dissolving the proud structures you have called strength. The “spoils of their hands” are the ego’s effects—judgments, separation, and grasping—that vanish as you dwell in the awareness that you are one with all. The “fortress of the high fort of thy walls” is the self-image of separation, a mental citadel built of memory and habit. When the I AM asserts itself, it does not assault; it awakens, and the walls fall to dust, revealing the ground of pure being beneath. Your job is not to conquer others but to revise your inner scene until your present experience matches the end you desire. Align with the feeling of being unshaken, all-powerful awareness, and the outer world will shift to reflect that reality.

Practice This Now

In the moment before sleep, assume you are the I AM and revise a scene of pride. See the fortress crumble to dust and feel spacious awareness filling the place.
