Isaiah 24:14-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 24 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage shows a global chorus of praise to the LORD and a purification call, followed by a personal confession of leanness and exposure of treachery.
Neville's Inner Vision
Isaiah’s words are not a distant prophecy but a mirror of your inner atmosphere. The voices from far seas are the sounds your own consciousness makes when it recognizes the majesty of the I AM. The fires are purification—moments when you choose to honor the LORD by refusing to dramatize lack; you glorify the name of the LORD in your inner isles of steadiness. The line 'From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs' speaks of the worldwide chorus within you when you align with truth. Then comes the confession: 'My leanness'—a reminder that imagination can seize on scarcity unless you revise. The treacherous dealers are counterfeit beliefs that feast on fear; do not let them lord it over your mind. Instead, dwell in the awareness that you are already righteous in the sight of God, the I AM, and let that reality be your felt experience. When you assume this, the outer world will echo the chorus you have proclaimed inwardly.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare 'I am the I AM' and revise any sense of lack. Visualize the far chorus as your own inner realization and feel it as real.
