The Inner Isle Of Provision

Isaiah 23:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 23 in context

Scripture Focus

2Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.
3And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a mart of nations.
Isaiah 23:2-3

Biblical Context

Isaiah 23:2-3 speaks of an island whose wealth comes from distant waters and shared exchange. It hints that true abundance rests in stillness and inner alignment, not outward merchants alone.

Neville's Inner Vision

Stop clinging to the outward tide of commerce and pause in the awareness that you are the land and the sea of your abundance. The inhabitants of the isle symbolize the state of consciousness that believes wealth comes from outside, from traders and rivers. But the scripture's great waters are the currents of life within you—the feeling, memory, and imagination you feed with attention. When you be still, you invite the I AM to revise your sense of lack into a vivid present tense: I am the source, I am the supply, I am the mart through which nations exchange their gifts with me. As you imagine prosperity circulating within your inner market, the seeds of Sihor rise as harvests of realization rather than mere external revenue. The kingdom becomes a consciousness that does business with itself and with others through love, clarity, and decisive feeling. The 'merchants' cannot replenish you; your own I AM, aware however you name it, nourishes all you require.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, breathe, and revise your state to: I am the source of all provision. See the inner island as a harbor where great waters yield abundance for all your needs.
