Holiness Through Merchandise
Isaiah 23:18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 23 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse declares that wealth and merchandise should be holy to the LORD, not stored as treasure but used to sustain those who dwell before Him. It presents wealth as a means of provision rather than possession.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your merchandise and hire are not mere externals; they are manifestations of your I AM, the awareness by which you live. When you permit them to be holiness to the LORD, you stop storing or worshiping wealth and begin circulating it as instrument of life. The verse says: the wealth you earn is to feed those who dwell before the LORD—in you and around you—so that all have enough to eat and wear. This is a call to inner stewardship: wealth is not mine to clutch but a sacred flow through which life is nourished. In practice, assume that prosperity is already sanctified and that every exchange is a prayer answered. The imagination then becomes the market where needs are met; your state of consciousness determines the tone of the transaction. See yourself as the custodian of a divine provision, using it to clothe and feed the inner and outer world. By this inner shift, lack dissolves and abundance becomes your natural atmosphere. The holiness of your commerce is the proof that God within you is the source of all supply.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume, 'My merchandise and hire are holiness to the LORD; they are for those who dwell before Him to eat and be clothed.' Feel that truth now until it is real in your chest; then watch how provision flows to support it.
