Inner Banquet of Sovereign Awareness
Isaiah 21:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 21 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
It describes an inward order: prepare, watch, and feast. Then rise to empower your inner authorities and shield your realm.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM, this line is not a map to a feast in the marketplace but a revelation of your inner kingdom. The table is the assembly of ideas you consent to as real; the watchtower is the constant awareness that you, and you alone, imagine your world into being. To eat and drink is to dwell in the truth you have chosen, to let your feelings align with that image. When it says arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield, it invites your inner powers to stand in their appointed place, governed by the sovereignty you now accept. The princes are aspects of consciousness you must bring into alignment—vision, discipline, courage, faith—and the shield is the conviction that this state cannot be overthrown by fear or doubt. Your job is to assume the state, to feel it real, and let that feeling permeate everything you touch. Once you live in that inner atmosphere, outward events follow as the echo of your inner state.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: sit quietly, imagine a table of abundance before you, invite your inner princes to sit, and declare I AM sovereign here. Feel the shield being anointed with unwavering faith, and rest in that state.
