Mountain of the LORD Within
Isaiah 2:2-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
It speaks of the LORD's house established on high, drawing all nations to learn His ways. It ends with peace where weapons are turned to tools and all walk in the light.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this vision the entire world is a chorus of consciousness awakening to its true center. The mountain of the LORD's house is not a place in time but a state of awareness raised above outer hills—an inner throne from which the divine law and the word of the LORD flow. The last days symbolize the moment you turn within and consent to the reality that you are the I AM, not external conditions. When you imagine the mountain exalted in you, all nations of your mind—fear, doubt, desire—flow toward it to be taught. He will teach us of his ways; we will walk in his paths, for the law goes forth from Zion within. Judgment among the nations becomes a correction of thoughts; swords become plowshares and spears into pruning hooks as your hostile thoughts are transformed by your steadfast acceptance of divine order. O house of Jacob, come and walk in the light of the LORD by living as that light in daily choosing harmony, truth, and compassionate action. This is the kingdom arriving within you.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of I AM now; ascend to the mountain within and let the divine law flow from Zion in you. See swords of conflict transforming into plowshares as peace takes root in your mind.
