Inner Zion: Present Gift
Isaiah 18:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 18:6-7 portrays desolate expanse, with a promised time when offerings are brought to the LORD at Mount Zion, signaling a shift from exile to return.
Neville's Inner Vision
In Neville’s method, the fowls and beasts are the roaming thoughts and external conditions that seem to overwhelm the consciousness. The “present” being brought to the LORD of hosts at Zion is not a geographic event but a shift of state—an inner act of recognizing and inhabiting the I AM. Zion represents the stable center of awareness within; to bring the present there is to acknowledge that God’s presence is already the reality you live from. The scattered and peeled people symbolize a dissolved sense of self that has identified with fear and circumstance; by holding Zion as the governing state, that old self-image is revised and brought under the rule of awareness. The imagery of rivers spoiled and lands trodden underfoot indicates old beliefs breaking apart under the power of realized I AM presence. The invitation is to return to the inner presence, to offer the “present” to the Lord within, and to let this inner kingly consciousness reorder experience from the inside out.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, close your eyes and assume you are at Zion—the mount within. Present to your I AM the immediate state you wish to inhabit (peace, sufficiency, wholeness) and feel that gift received by your inner God now.
