Inner Lamb to Zion Mount

Isaiah 16:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 16 in context

Scripture Focus

1Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
Isaiah 16:1

Biblical Context

Isaiah 16:1 speaks of sending a pure, innocent desire (the lamb) to the ruling power within, as the consciousness moves from outer land toward Zion. It signals an inner ascent toward awakening and true sovereignty.

Neville's Inner Vision

In Neville's language, the verse is a map of consciousness. The lamb is your innocent desire asking admission to the ruler within—the I AM who governs your world. Sela and the wilderness mark the outer edges and arid stretches of your attention; passing from them to the mount of the daughter of Zion is an inner ascent from surface seeing to awakened perception. Sending the lamb to the ruler is not sacrifice but consent: you allow your desire to be acknowledged by your higher self rather than denied by fear. When you assume Zion, you imagine you are already standing on the mount, and you feel the reality of it now. The inner movement precedes any outward change; the outer world simply reflects the settled state of your mind. Do this: dwell in the feeling that your wish is granted, address your I AM as ruler, and treat the journey as already completed. Soon the lamb’s acceptance on Zion’s mount blossoms into your daily life, because imagination creates reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine sending the lamb of desire to your inner ruler; then revise and affirm, 'I am on Zion's mount now,' feeling it as real.
