Inner Wells of Salvation
Isaiah 12:2-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 12 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 12:2-6 presents God as salvation and strength; the people are encouraged to trust without fear, rejoice, and draw from the wells of salvation as they praise God and exalt His name.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behold, the verse does not speak of distant history but of your inner kingdom. Behold, God is my salvation—this is the recognition that the I AM within you is the source and measure of your life. When you say, I will trust and not be afraid, you align with the eternal strength that is your own consciousness; the LORD JEHOVAH becomes your song because you realize you are the living verse, singing through you. The wells of salvation are the currents of awareness available to you in any moment; joy is not an event but a state you enter by turning attention from fear to the presence that already abides. In that day you say, Praise the LORD, call upon His name—this is the inner declaration, naming what you know to be true within. Sing unto the LORD for He has done excellent things; your daily life becomes known to the earth as your inner works manifest as outer circumstances. Cry out and shout, inhabitant of Zion: the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee is your realized I AM.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, close your eyes, and say 'God is my salvation' until fear dissolves; then imagine drawing water from the wells of salvation, a stream of living awareness renewing your mind.
