Salvation Through Inner Song
Isaiah 12:2-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 12 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God is salvation; trust without fear; joy flows as one draws from the wells of salvation, and the faithful proclaim His deeds to all the earth.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behold, the verse invites me to see that God is my salvation—my awareness, my I AM. When I say, I will trust and not be afraid, I am not declaring faith apart from me; I am consciously choosing the state of confidence that already exists as my self-knowledge. The LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He is the very tune of my life, the inner cadence by which I move. Salvation becomes practical: joy is the drawing of living water from the wells of my being, where consciousness overflows with certainty. In that day I say, Praise the LORD, call upon His name; I testify to others from the inner awareness that His name is exalted within me, and I reveal His deeds by living them. I sing unto the LORD, for He hath done excellent things—this is known in all the earth: when I practice this inward reality, earth bears witness to my inner transformation. My life shifts from fear to fearless praise, and the world reflects my inner victory.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and declare, I AM God’s salvation in me; feel fear dissolve as the Well of Salvation wells up. Then envision the earth responding with praise, and repeat, His name is exalted within me.
