Illumined Wells of Salvation
Isaiah 12:1-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 12:1-5 speaks of a day when praise rises as fear dissolves. God is salvation, and joy springs from trusting the inner strength that is always present.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this text, the 'day' is not a calendar but a shift in consciousness. When you say, 'O LORD, I will praise thee,' you are claiming the I AM that never wavers. The anger that once bent your heart is seen as a misperception of separation; its turning away is your inner alignment returning to wholeness. 'Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid' becomes the knowing that the assurance of life resides within you now, not some distant mercy. The Lord Jehovah is your strength and your song, meaning the very activity of awareness is alive in you as power and melody. Therefore, with joy you draw water from the wells of salvation—joy is the natural overflow of the realized state. The exhortation to sing, call upon His name, and declare His deeds among the people becomes the practice of living in such awareness that your world reflects the excellence you already recognize. The earth knows this truth when your inner picture is aligned with it; imagination creates the world you inhabit.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Assume the state 'I am salvation' now, feel the inner strength as your song. Then move through the day praising and trusting, watching fear dissolve into gratitude.
