Inner Salvation Through Praise
Isaiah 12:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 12 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 12:1-4 speaks of praising the Lord because His anger is turned away. It locates God as salvation and invites joyful praise and testimony.
Neville's Inner Vision
Take these verses as your inward confession. When I proclaim O LORD I will praise thee, I am not addressing a distant deity; I am rehearsing the I AM that already stands within me. The anger that once seemed to rule turns away as consciousness recognizes its own majesty; God is my salvation, and I am not afraid because the LORD is my strength and my song. This is not external rescue; it is inner alignment—the moment in which faith rests in the truth that the present awareness is all-powerful. The joy spoken of is the drawing of waters from the wells of salvation, a vivid image of gratitude arising from within, a torrent of blessed recognition that I am complete in the living presence. Therefore, call upon His name, declare His doings among the people, exalt that name, for the name within is exalted in my waking and sleeping. The day spoken of is this day, this now, in which I realize I am the salvation I sought.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, place your hand on your chest, and assume the feeling that the wish is already fulfilled by declaring I am saved, I am strong, I am the joy of salvation. Then go about your day with the quiet certainty that you are drawing waters from your inner wells.
