Read Isaiah 12 in context

Scripture Focus

1And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
2Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Isaiah 12:1-2

Biblical Context

The verse speaks of a turning day when praise rises after anger subsides; God is the salvation that steadies and sustains. Trust replaces fear, for the LORD is both strength and song.

Neville's Inner Vision

All the words point to a shift inside, not an outside event. The 'day' is a turning in consciousness when you acknowledge I AM as your source of life. Saying 'thou wast angry with me' recognizes a former state of limitation, and you revise it by declaring 'thine anger is turned away' as a present certainty, not a plea. 'Behold, God is my salvation' names the Truth that the I AM is your permanent refuge; your trust becomes the atmosphere you breathe. You are no longer afraid, for the LORD JEHOVAH is your strength and your song; the inner music of your true nature is now your salvation. Every moment is a choice to return to this awareness, a practice of praise, calm trust, and the felt sense of security that cannot be shaken by outward conditions. The world may present appearances, but you live from the inner witness of your divine Self that saves, sustains, and sings.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling: 'God is my salvation now.' Then revise any lingering fear by dwelling in the assurance of strength and song until it feels real.
