Read Isaiah 11 in context

Scripture Focus

7And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 11:7-9

Biblical Context

Isaiah 11:7–9 depicts a world where predators and children live in safety, and the earth is filled with knowledge of the LORD—signaling harmony born of inner awareness.

Neville's Inner Vision

To that prophecy I bring the awareness that Isaiah speaks not of distant lands but of your own interior state. The scene of the cow and bear feeding and the child at the hole of the asp is a symbol of harmony achieved when the mind accepts its unity. In truth there are no enemies in the kingdom the LORD is revealing; all creatures reveal the power of consciousness when fear yields to the I AM that you are. The earth is full of the knowledge of the LORD because knowledge is not a book’s teaching but your inner realization that you are in God and God is in you. The reversal of hostility is a turning point in perception: you stop projecting conflict onto nature and begin to behold it through the light of oneness. As you dwell in the awareness of your true self, your outer world rearranges to match that inner harmony. The promise is fulfilled in the present moment whenever you declare your unity with the divine I AM.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise the day by declaring I am the LORD, my awareness fills the earth. See a scene where beasts feed together and a child plays safely; feel that harmony as your reality here and now.
