Isaiah 11:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 11 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
A root of Jesse stands as a banner for all peoples, and the Lord will again gather the remnant, restoring what was scattered.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within your consciousness, there is a root of Jesse, a living banner that you can turn toward as the sign by which all states of mind align. The 'ensign of the people' is not a political emblem but your I AM—the awareness that gathers every scattered thought into rest. When you behold this banner, the Gentiles—your wandering thoughts and external conditions—will seek to it, attracted by the light you permit. And that rest—glorious—awaits as the peaceful outcome of a decided inner decree. The 'second time' is simply another manifestation of God within you, another awakening where the remnant of your true identity is recovered from fear, lack, and doubt. Practice: fix your attention on that root as present now; declare that you rest in the divine order; feel your inner remnant align with the banner. The world outside will reflect your inner decree, not by forcing change but by echoing the steadiness you affirm. You are the gathering you seek.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and envision a radiant root of Jesse rising as an ensign in your chest. Affirm softly, 'I am rest in God; all nations gather to my inner banner,' and let that image settle into your body.
