Purification and Restoration Within

Isaiah 1:24-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 1 in context

Scripture Focus

24Therefore saith the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:
25And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
26And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
Isaiah 1:24-26

Biblical Context

God declares He will remove enemies, refine Israel by purifying with fire, and restore leaders so the nation becomes a city of righteousness and faithful governance.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner theatre of your mind, the LORD of hosts speaks as your I AM. The adversaries you fear are states of consciousness; to ‘ease me of mine adversaries’ is to release the hold of those thoughts by the assurance that you are the perceiving I AM. 'Turn my hand upon thee' is not a geography but a shift of attention: attention refined by imagination purges the dross of limiting beliefs and tin—those surface identifications that cling to you. When your inner judges and counselors are restored, you inhabit the 'city of righteousness, the faithful city' as your present atmosphere. The refining fire dissolves separation, inviting a new creation where your choices and feelings align with an unshakable I AM in you. This is not future hope but present experience: consciousness reforms itself, and the world follows as a mirror of that inner order. Your task is to dwell in this purified state until it feels like home, a city that bears witness to divine order within you.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and affirm, 'I AM pure consciousness; I purify within me now.' Visualize a refining fire passing through your thoughts, dissolving dross, and feel the altered sense of self as the city of righteousness takes residence.
