The Inner Lion Of Truth
Hosea 5:13-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Ephraim and Judah seek help from Assyria for their wounds, but external aid cannot heal. God declares a fierce inner power that tears away false securities, leaving no external rescue.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, Ephraim and Judah are not places but states of consciousness. When you turn to the Assyrian of habit, you discover that external alliances cannot heal the wound you feel in your own heart. Hosea's warning is not about nations but about the inner judgment that follows when you forget the I AM that you are. I declare that I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and unto Judah as a young lion: I, the I AM, will tear away the veil of dependence and drive forth the old fear. The lion is not a threat but the liberating presence of awareness that rends illusion and leaves you free. Do not seek healing in others or in systems; revise the scene by recognizing that the inner I AM is the only healer, protector, and source of return. The exile you dread is the return to truth that no rescue comes from without; all rescue is the awakening of consciousness to its own creative power. Trust that the inner lion has acted in you, and your life will follow its righteous order.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, place attention on the I AM as a lion within, and silently declare, I AM the healer and protector now. Feel this truth as if it were already done, and let your sense of security rise from within.
