Inner Hunger Hosea 4:10

Hosea 4:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Hosea 4 in context

Scripture Focus

10For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.
Hosea 4:10

Biblical Context

Hosea 4:10 warns that neglecting the LORD leads to a hollow abundance—people eat without satisfaction and fail to increase, because they have abandoned true worship and fidelity.

Neville's Inner Vision

All hunger in Hosea 4:10 is hunger of the soul, not the stomach. When a people leave heed to the LORD—forgetting the Source of their being—the symbolic feast dries up; you eat, yet you are not fed, and you remain empty. The “unfruitful whoredom” is the mind chasing external idols—money, status, appearances—which never yield lasting increase. Leaving the LORD is the moment the I AM within is forgotten as the sovereign power of your life. If you believe life depends on something besides your inner God-state, you will experience lack despite outward plenty. The cure is immediate: turn your attention back to the LORD as your awareness. Assume you are already in covenant loyalty with the I AM; revise the old lack-based image and feel the reality of your continuous supply. See yourself nourished by the one Source, and know that your increase is an inner alignment—present, not future moneys or bargains but a present realization of your true state.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, revise the sense of lack by declaring, 'The LORD is my supply now,' and feel the inner banquet of infinite consciousness nourishing you.
