Hosea 14:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Hosea 14 in context

Scripture Focus

9Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
Hosea 14:9

Biblical Context

Verse 14:9 asks who is wise and understands these things, declaring that the LORD's ways are right and the just walk in them, while the transgressors fall therein.

Neville's Inner Vision

Who is wise? He is one who awakens to the inner laws that govern all appearances. The ways of the LORD are not distant rules but the right patterns of consciousness that always operate when I am truly aware. When I incline my mind to the truth that I understand these things, I am not decoding a book but aligning with the I AM that perceives. The prudent walk in these ways because walking is simply the movement of awareness itself; to walk in them is to permit the natural order to express through me. The transgressors fall therein because they resist the inner alignment, clinging to old pictures of lack or separation. But the just, those who persist in the present recognition of the rightness of this order, experience life as a natural procession along a right way. Thus Hosea's verse becomes a practical invitation: cultivate a state of inner agreement, and you will understand by feeling, noticing, and daring to inhabit the very path you already are. The moment you claim I am the I AM, you are already walking the LORD's road.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare I am the I AM, and the ways of the LORD are right for me. Revise any sense of lack and feel it real that you walk in them now.
