Dwelling Under His Shadow: Inner Revival

Hosea 14:7-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Hosea 14 in context

Scripture Focus

7They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
8Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
Hosea 14:7-8

Biblical Context

Those who dwell under his shadow will return and revive, growing like corn and vines. Ephraim proclaims no more idols, hearing and observing him, and finds fruit within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Under the Neville lens, the shadow is a state of consciousness in which you accept your true I AM as the source. When you 'return' and 'revive' you are not chasing outcomes but waking to your inner corn and vine — your vitality, your scent, your wine of Lebanon — all born of your own awareness. Idols are projections of lack; when you say, 'What have I to do any more with idols?' you are choosing a new conclusion: that you have heard and observed the Self within, and your fruit is found in your green fir tree — your steadfast inner nature. Listen and observe; listen to the Self within and observe its fruits. You are a green fir tree, unshaken; from you comes your fruit, born of the inner life that cannot fail. The outer world will reflect this inner alignment as you persist in the inner conviction. Idolatry dissolves as you recognize that the source is consciousness, and you, not external ritual, are the temple.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state: I am under the shadow of the I AM. Then feel your inner vitality revive—corn, vine, and fruit springing from the green fir within.
