Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Hosea 14:5-8 as a map of consciousness. I am the dew unto Israel—so are you, in truth, the dew upon your own being. When you imagine rightly, you grow as the lily, roots casting toward the Lebanon of your inner hills. Your branches spread; beauty becomes like the olive tree, and your fragrance rises like Lebanon. Those who dwell in the shadow of your awareness return; they revive as the corn and grow as the vine, because the atmosphere around you is infused with living light. Ephraim's question—What have I to do with idols?—dissolves when you observe and hear the divine I AM speaking through you: From me is thy fruit found. The 'I' am the life of your garden. Idols are nothing more than images of lack you have projected; turning from them is not a rite but a return to your natural state of fullness. Your renewal is not distant; it is present perception that births a new Lebanon of calm, power, and aroma in your daily world.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, affirm, 'I am the dew unto my life now,' and feel the cool blessing settle through you. See yourself as a green fir bearing fruit from your inner source.
