Biblical Context
Hosea 14:4 promises healing for backsliding and a freely given love, with God's anger turned away.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the I AM, God says to your deepest self: I will heal your backsliding and love you freely, for my anger is turned away from you. Backsliding is simply a misalignment of your awareness, a false belief you are separate from the beloved. The moment you realize that you are the I AM, that your true state is already loved, the whole scene dissolves. Healing is not a future event but a shift in consciousness—an assumption that the mind that knows no strife has already reconciled the so-called distance. The decree 'I will heal' is your own inner resolve, the commitment of your attention to wholeness rather than lack. 'I will love you freely' becomes your willingness to love yourself without condition, to forgive imagined offenses, and to rest in the continuous mercy of grace. When anger—your inner resistance—drops away, you are returned to the serenity of your original unity. The Father's love is already yours; the backsliding falls away as you inhabit your true I AM.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and assume the state of wholeness now—declare, 'I am healed; I am loved freely.' Visualize the anger dissolving as a bright light receding, and rest in the awareness that you are the I AM.
