Biblical Context
Hosea 14:2 invites us to approach the Lord with spoken words, asking for iniquity to be removed and for gracious acceptance. In response, true worship is expressed as the praise from our lips.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, you are not petitioning an external deity as much as you are awakening the I AM within. The command to 'take with you words' is a directive to assume the state you desire: a forgiven, gracious you who stands in the presence of the Lord. Your 'iniquity' is the old sense of separation you revise by insisting on the indivisible reality of I AM. To 'receive us graciously' is to inhabit grace as your natural condition, not something earned from without. The 'calves of our lips' points to living speech that arises from inward acceptance—what you declare, you become. Speak from the end you seek as though it is already done; let the atmosphere of your breathing and tone reflect a lived assurance. When you dwell in this consciousness, forgiveness and praise no longer hinge on external factors but flow as your constant state, shaping circumstance from the inside out.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the end: I am forgiven and graciously received by the I AM. Speak softly, with feeling: 'I am forgiven; grace is my natural state,' and let that inner felt sense permeate your day.
