The One God Within Hosea 13:4

Hosea 13:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Hosea 13 in context

Scripture Focus

4Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
Hosea 13:4

Biblical Context

God declares Himself the sole Lord and savior, drawn from the Exodus, and demands that the people recognize no other god. There is no savior beside me.

Neville's Inner Vision

From the inside, Hosea is telling you that the true ruler of your life is the I AM you are. The ‘land of Egypt’ symbolizes your old bondage thoughts—fear, lack, and separation—out of which the I AM delivers you when you yield to the inward rule. There is no god beside the Lord who dwells in you as awareness; to imagine yourself apart from this One is to invite a false savior into your story. Salvation comes as you align with that inner sovereign power, stop chasing outside powers, and recognize that all change arises within conscious life. The exodus is an inner shift from believing in multiple powers to knowing you are one with the living I AM. When you live from that unity, your circumstances begin to respond, not by force from without, but by the clear demonstration that you are saved by an undivided, inner presence.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, speak, 'I am the LORD my God, the I AM in me now,' and feel that inner sovereignty settle like light. Let that one Presence guide your next moment as if you were already saved.
