2The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.
Hosea 12:2

Biblical Context

The Lord has a controversy with Judah and will recompense Jacob according to his ways and deeds; your inner state determines the outer life you experience.

Neville's Inner Vision

In truth, the Lord is the I AM within, and the controversy is the inner clash between old and new facets of your consciousness. Jacob and Judah symbolize your limited self and your higher self struggling for expression. Your ways are habitual thoughts; your doings are the images you project. Recompense is the inner law returning to you as experience, not punishment from an external tyrant. When you dwell in fear or resentment, you birth a life that mirrors that pattern; when you revise toward alignment with divine order, life follows. The 'punishment' is a correction that brings you back to your right nature, and the covenant is your innate loyalty to wholeness. Stay faithful to the state you desire and observe outer scenes fall into place as the fruit of inner conviction. When you feel you are the state of justice, you are living it now.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and revise your inner state by assuming you are already the state of justice you seek; feel that state as real in your chest for 5–10 minutes.
