Hosea 12:10 declares that God spoke through prophets and multiplied visions and similitudes by their ministry.
Neville's Inner Vision
I hear Hosea’s statement as a truth about your own I AM. The 'prophets' are inner states of consciousness awakened to awareness; their 'ministry' is the disciplined attention you give to the still, small voice within. The 'visions' and the 'similitudes' you perceive are the imagination actively at work, revealing the shape of your current state. When you claim this, you are not recalling past events but inviting your inner self to align with the end you desire. The ministry of the prophets, then, is your ongoing practice of revising by feeling the wish fulfilled, seeing symbolic pictures that corroborate your new state, and withholding belief in anything contrary. Each image is a signpost of your inner truth—your trust, your dreams, the standards you hold. To interpret them rightly, refuse to bargain with fear; instead, trust that you are already the person the vision shows you to be. Persist in this inner script, and the outer world will gradually echo the inner assumption, revealing that you have always been under the prophets' ministry within you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine a vivid symbol that embodies your desired state. Feel it as already true, and rest in the certainty that the I AM is speaking through visions now.
