Israel's Inner Healing Now

Hosea 11:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Hosea 11 in context

Scripture Focus

2As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.
3I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
Hosea 11:2-3

Biblical Context

Hosea 11:2-3 contrasts calling outward idols with God's inward guidance, showing that people followed Baalim and graven images while failing to notice the healing I AM always at work within them.

Neville's Inner Vision

I hear Hosea’s 11:2–3 as the inner drama of every consciousness. When you call outward idols—pictures, beliefs, habits—you move with them, just as Ephraim went after Baalim. Yet the divine tutor in you, the I AM, guides by the hand, teaching you how to walk the inner path. The healing is not a future event but an active faculty of your own consciousness—the very I AM that holds and sustains you. You may wonder where the healing is, for you have looked to forms and missed the healer, but the healing is in the awareness that I AM within you is the source, the guide, and the physician. So long as you identify with the forms, you lose sight of the I AM who heals. When you revise your calls and align with the solitary fact that God is within you, your life follows a new inward movement. The old idols dissolve as you awaken to the presence that has always been your own life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and rest in the I AM within. Imagine a gentle divine hand guiding you, then insist in the present tense, 'I am healed by the I AM' and stay listening for the inner yes.
