One Heart, One God Within
Hosea 10:2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Hosea 10 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The heart is divided, leading to fault in judgment. The inner altars and images of idolatry will be broken down.
Neville's Inner Vision
To speak this scripture as Neville would be: Your heart is divided—this is not external betrayal but the inner posture of consciousness, a scatter of attention between the I AM and likenesses you have worshiped in place of It. Hosea tells us that such divided devotion is exposed as fault, and that the inner altars and images you cling to are broken down and spoiled. The remedy is not reform of outward rituals but a conversion of the inner sight: awaken to the single presence of God as your I AM, and let all other images lose their force as they are seen as mere shadows in a mist of belief. When you dwell in the awareness that you are the one Life, you will no longer entertain competing pictures; the ‘altars’ of fear, pride, or craving crumble as your imagination accepts the reality of divine unity. The judgment promised is simply the clearing of consciousness to receive the truth you intend.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are wholly one with the I AM; revise any inner image of separation by affirming 'There is only one presence' and feel it as real.
