Hosea 1:7-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Hosea 1:7-11 promises mercy for Judah not by weapons, a son is born as a sign, and ultimately Israel and Judah are gathered and renewed as one people in the living God.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the verses reveal states of consciousness, not distant events. When Hosea says I will save by the LORD their God, he points to salvation arising from the I AM within you, not swords or battles. The name Lo-ammi, meaning 'not my people', marks a belief in separation. Yet the sand of the sea symbolizes the inexhaustible supply of your awareness, and in the place where you once proclaimed, 'not my people', you shall awaken as 'the sons of the living God'. This is the inner gathering: Judah and Israel become one under the one head you call God—your own I AM. Jezreel signifies the harvest day of consciousness, when the scattered parts are sown back into unity. The outward history of a people mirrors your inner life: mercy replaces force, and renewal flows from the decision that the LORD is your God and you are in Him. Practice becomes a daily act of revision until the sense of separation dissolves into oneness with God as your living awareness.
Practice This Now
Practice: Sit quietly and assume the truth 'I am the LORD my God' in this house; feel mercy fill every part of you and revise 'not my people' to 'I am the people of the living God' with a steady, warming conviction.
