Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jezreel and Loruhamah symbolize inner states: the fall of an old order and the removal of mercy. The passage points toward judgment that can awaken a new consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Here the LORD speaks in symbolic name—Jezreel and Loruhamah—not to recount history but to instruct your consciousness. Jezreel is the name you grant to a state in which you vow to witness the passing of the old kingdom in your inner valley; it is the moment when the belief in separation and strife is allowed to die. The 'bow of Israel' being broken in the valley of Jezreel is the disarmament of your most cherished self-defenses, the idea that you must fight for your reality. Then comes Loruhamah, 'not having mercy,' a phase where you feel the old favors withdrawn; you experience judgment as a clearing, not as punishment. Yet in this script, mercy is not gone; it only waits for your recognition of the I AM as the sole ruler of your life. The remedy is to realize that judgment and mercy are two expressions of the same Presence, and by assuming a state of harmony you invite the new arrangement into being. When you dwell in the awareness that I AM is the source of all, you abolish exile and welcome return to a wholeness that already exists within.
Practice This Now
Assume the state Jezreel and feel the old order breaking; then revise to Loruhamah and feel mercy returning.
