Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Christ does not enter the earthly temples but heaven itself to appear before God for us. The verse invites us to realize that God's presence is not primarily in external buildings but in our own consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Christ is not a distant external officer performing rites in marble corridors; he is the inner Christ, the risen state of consciousness that already stands in heaven's presence. In this light, Hebrews 9:24 tells you that the true temple is not built with hands but is the sanctuary of your own I AM. When you realize that heaven is a state of awareness, you stop chasing substitutes and begin living from the one who has already appeared before God for you. Your mind, when steadied in the I AM, becomes the holy place where the divine negotiates redemption and grace. The word 'for us' means that this is not some future event but your current experiential fact: you are seen by God as you are seen by your higher self—clear, beloved, and present. Practice this by assuming you are already in the heavenly presence, letting every thought align with grace and gratitude. If fear arises, revise it with the conviction that your true self is always in the sanctuary, totally attended by God.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes; assume you are already there; feel the I AM presence and imagine Christ standing before God for you, then dwell in that consciousness as your daily practice.
