Biblical Context
Hebrews 9:11-14 contrasts the old priesthood with Christ, who enters a greater tabernacle and offers eternal redemption, cleansing the conscience rather than merely the flesh. It points to an inner reality where divine life purifies motive and aligns you with the living God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Christ as high priest in Hebrews is not a distant office but a doorway into your own state of awareness. The greater and more perfect tabernacle is the inner sanctuary of I AM, not built with hands, not a fleshly temple. The old blood of beasts represents the worn-out belief that you must perform or suffer to be worthy; the new blood - Christ, offered through the eternal Spirit - is the life-force pouring into consciousness, cleansing not the flesh but your conscience from dead works. When you feel that your old motives, fear, and sense of separation are fading, you are entering that holy place where redemption is eternal and complete. The act of assuming your desired state, the living obedience to your inner truth, is the actual sacrifice that purges the belief in lack and sin. Imagine your awareness, pure and without spot, offering itself to God and thus dissolving guilt, so you serve the living God from a serene, untroubled heart. This is not external forgiveness; it is your awakening to the reality that you are already forgiven in the state of I AM.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and enter the radiant inner sanctuary of I AM; declare 'I am forgiven,' then feel the release as your consciousness shifts. Practice this revision whenever old guilt or fear arises, and notice your motive aligning with the living God.
