The reason they were not kept in the covenant is they wandered; the reason you may feel distant is a momentary forgetting of who you are. The new covenant is not written on tablets of stone, but inscribed on consciousness by the steady, grateful assumption that the I AM is your own awareness and power. Your life becomes governed by inner laws you freely assume.
