The Greater Man Within
Hebrews 7:4-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Hebrews 7 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Abraham recognizes the greatness of the one he tithes to, and the passage contrasts the lesser priesthood with the greater blessing; the point is that a higher state of consciousness blesses the lower.
Neville's Inner Vision
Hebrews 7:4–7, in Neville’s lens, is a law of consciousness rather than history. The 'man' who is greater represents the higher I AM within you; Levi’s line stands for old habits and outward law, while the one not counted from them is the higher self who receives your tithes of attention and blesses your promises. When you acknowledge this inner hierarchy in imagination, you stop seeking from outward sources and begin to feel the blessing as an inner reality that rearranges your life. The less is blessed by the better because you align with the inner governor, and your sense of lack dissolves as provision flows from that greater state. The message is not about ritual but inner trust: the higher Self blesses the lower by virtue of your unwavering allegiance to the I AM within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and declare, I am the greater I AM within; I tithe my consciousness to that higher Self and feel the blessing flowing to my lower self.
