Read Hebrews 6 in context

Scripture Focus

19Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
20Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Hebrews 6:19-20

Biblical Context

Hope is described as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, entering the inner sanctuary where Christ the forerunner and eternal high priest has entered.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here is your mental doorway: 'hope' is not a wish but a fixed state of consciousness. The anchor of the soul is the feeling that you already are in possession of your desired reality because your awareness is one with the I AM. When it says it enters within the veil, imagine the veil as the boundary between ordinary sense and the inner sanctuary where God dwells as your own consciousness. The forerunner, Jesus, entered first—not outside you but in your inner being—showing that the high priesthood after Melchizedek is the order of instantaneous realization in consciousness, not time-bound attainment. So you do not pursue; you acknowledge. As you assume the presence of your true self, your hope becomes unshakable: a sure and steadfast inward condition that does not depend on outward circumstances. This is covenant loyalty: your inner agreement with God’s indwelling presence remains constant, and salvation becomes the natural condition of your daily experience when you dwell there.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the feeling, 'I AM the presence that anchors me.' Dwell in the inner sanctuary and let the forerunner within you confirm your covenant with God now.
