The Inner House Of Christ Within

Hebrews 3:3-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Hebrews 3 in context

Scripture Focus

3For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
4For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
5And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
6But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Hebrews 3:3-6

Biblical Context

Christ has built the house and holds it in greater glory than Moses. We become his house by remaining steadfast in confidence and the rejoicing of the hope to the end.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice the distinction: Moses served in the house, faithful as a servant; Christ stands as a son over the house. The 'house' is not a brick-and-mortar structure but your inner state—your consciousness governed by God. To be 'in Christ's house' is to admit you are the living temple, and your faith plus the joy of the future are its foundation. Wherever fear, lack, or separation arise, see them as the old servant's testimony. Quietly revise by assuming the identity: I am the builder of my life; I am the house governed by the I AM. Hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope to the end, and you align your inner architecture with the divine builder. The kingdom is within; you are already the house over which Christ reigns. Persist in this inner truth, and your outer world mirrors that peace, unity, and endurance.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the identity of the house God built; quietly affirm, 'I am the house over which Christ reigns.' Then feel the confidence and the rejoicing of your future as already present.
