Biblical Context
Humans are crowned with glory and set over God's works. Yet not all things are yet visibly under their feet.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of 'man' as your state of consciousness, the I AM you affirm in every moment. The angels symbolize the thoughts and circumstances that appear to rule you, yet this scripture declares you have been crowned with glory and honor and set over the works of thy hands. The 'subjection' of all things is not separation from God but mastery of your inner scenery—the moment you assume that all things are under your feet, your inner kingdom comes alive. The 'world to come' is the next phase your present state can enter by belief and feeling. If today you do not yet see all things under you, that is the invitation to revise your assumption and to remain in the feeling of dominion until it becomes your lived experience. In Neville's method, you are God in expression; your imagination is the instrument by which you reframe the scene. By repeating 'I AM' and feeling it real, you align the outer world with your inward state. Begin now, and let the end-state precede and shape the seen, until the world bows to your consciousness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, place your hand on your chest, and repeat: 'I am the ruler of my world; all things are under my feet.' Feel the dignity of that authority and let the feeling linger as you imagine outer life bending to your inner state.
