Inner Trust of Hebrews 2:13
Hebrews 2:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Hebrews 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage speaks of trusting the divine within and recognizing that 'the children' are the gifts God has given. It anchors identity in the inner relationship with God rather than external circumstance.
Neville's Inner Vision
Each time Hebrews speaks of trust, it is not a creed about an external deity but a turning of attention to the I AM within. To say 'I will put my trust in him' is to align your entire sense of self with the living awareness that you are God’s own image now. The phrase 'Behold I and the children which God hath given me' invites you to view your inner faculties—faith, imagination, courage, compassion—as the 'children' produced by the one Life you call God. They are not future outcomes; they are visible now in the light of your assumed state. When you accept this, your world rearranges itself to reflect the trust you have placed in the source of your life, and you begin to see your inner offspring as existing within you, not apart from you. The act of trust activates the very powers that become your experiences, your relationships, your future.
Practice This Now
Assume the state now: say 'I trust the I AM within' and feel that certainty settle in your chest. Then imagine your inner faculties stepping forward as the 'children' God hath given you.
