Read Hebrews 2 in context

Scripture Focus

11For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
13And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
Hebrews 2:11-13

Biblical Context

The sanctifier and the sanctified share one life; they are brethren within the inner church, united in one consciousness. The passage points to declaring and trusting the divine name within and among your inner children.

Neville's Inner Vision

Inside you, the sanctifier and the sanctified are not two rivals but one I AM in different modes. The verse declares not separation but unity: brethren in the temple of your own awareness. When it says I will declare thy name unto my brethren in the midst of the church, it means you awaken the divine name within your own mind and honor it in every thought that arises as brethren. To say I will put my trust in him is to place trust in the inner God, the I AM who never falters in awareness. Behold I and the children which God hath given me points to your creations, your thoughts and sensations, as gifts within you to be blessed, not resisted. As you dwell in this consciousness, you begin to see the world reflect your inner truth of unity. The practice of assuming this oneness draws your life into harmony with the feeling of being one with all expressions of God you name as brethren.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling that you and the sanctifier and the sanctified are one I AM. Silently declare I and the children God hath given me are one, and feel the unity flowing through every thought and breath.
