Inner Union, Sacred Boundaries

Hebrews 13:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Hebrews 13 in context

Scripture Focus

4Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Hebrews 13:4

Biblical Context

Hebrews 13:4 states that marriage is honorable, and sexual relations within marriage are pure; it warns that sexual immorality will be judged.

Neville's Inner Vision

This verse is not about outward rules but your inner state. 'Marriage is honorable in all' means two aspects of consciousness joining in unity elevates your being; the 'bed undefiled' is the clean arena of imagination where energy flows from a single, unified I AM. Defilement arises when you believe separation or fear governs you; the ‘judge’ is your own inner verdict when you split from the one life within you. To align with the divine law, you must revise your sense of self and imagine the entire situation as already complete in consciousness. See yourself and your beloved as manifestations of the same I AM, and let sexual energy express as a natural, undefiled expression of wholeness. The call to judge those who violate it becomes a call to return to oneness, not punishment from without but alignment with inner truth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and repeat, 'I and my beloved are one in the I AM now.' Build the feeling of unity and allow the inner union to inform your energy, then treat all actions as an expression of that wholeness.
