Read Hebrews 13 in context

Scripture Focus

20Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:20-21

Biblical Context

God, the God of peace, raised Jesus from the dead and now works in you to make you perfect for every good work. Your inner alignment with this covenant enables you to do his will and please him, to the glory of Christ.

Neville's Inner Vision

Begin with this: the God of peace is the I AM within, the awareness waking from a dream of lack into life. The verse tells you that the great shepherd of the sheep—the inner guide—now moves in you. Through the blood of the everlasting covenant signals a fixed promise you accepted in consciousness: you are bound to a life that harmonizes with the divine will. The result is that you are being made perfect in every good work; not by labor from without, but by the inner alignment of your imagination with truth, so your acts flow from a fulfilled state. The Father is glorified through Jesus Christ, which in Neville’s phrasing means the divine life I AM shining through your daily choices. When you assume you are already this perfection and let that assumption revise every thought, you will see obedience and faithfulness bloom as natural expressions of your true nature. This is not striving; it is awakening to your permanent possessor: the Power within you.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Quietly declare, 'I am the perfect workman, doing all that pleases God.' Feel that truth as a living current in your chest, then proceed in the next task from that already-real state.
