Biblical Context
Hebrews 13:15 invites us to continually offer praise to God, as the outward fruit of an inner grateful state.
Neville's Inner Vision
By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise becomes a statement that through the indwelling I AM—the true and constant awareness within—you may consciously align with gratitude. The 'sacrifice of praise' is not a ritual but a shift in consciousness: you surrender complaint and cultivate a steady inner song of thanks. To offer it continually is to maintain a living posture of trust, so that your spoken words become the natural fruit of the inner recognition that God is present. 'The fruit of our lips' testifies not to mere sound but to the conviction that God’s presence is here now, named by your own awareness as the divine I AM. True worship then blooms as a daily act of faith, where praise is the response of a mind that already dwells in the Presence, and prayers are expressions of thanksgiving rather than pleas for absence. When irritation rises, revise the moment by returning to gratitude, aligning speech and feeling with the reality of God within you.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, feel the inner I AM, and say, 'Thank you, God, for Your Presence within me,' letting gratitude rise until it fills your lips.
