Biblical Context
Hebrews 12:26-29 describes a divine shaking that removes what can be shaken so that the unshakable kingdom remains. It invites us to receive this kingdom with grace and reverent fear, recognizing God as a consuming fire that purifies.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the shaking not as external calamity but as a vibrational move within your own consciousness. The earth that trembles is your presently held beliefs about who you are and what is real; the heaven that follows is your higher awareness or I AM, which you have not fully claimed. When the scripture says Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven, it is the inner invitation to purge all that can be shaken—habits, identifications, fears—that the unshakable kingdom of your true self may stand plainly. Receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved means aligning with an awareness that remains steady regardless of outer appearances. The fire is not punishment but purification; as you consent to this fiery clarity, you drop the images that no longer serve, and you are left with grace—the effortless service born of reverent, godly fear. The I AM within your chest is the consuming fire and the calm center that endures when every changing surface has burned away.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state of the I AM now; feel the unshakable kingdom within and let every action proceed from that awareness.
