Inner Shaking, Unshakable Life
Hebrews 12:25-27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Hebrews 12 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage urges you not to refuse the voice of the One who speaks from heaven. What is shaken will be removed, and what remains is the unshakable realm of the I AM.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider the 'speaking from heaven' as the voice of your I AM, the consciousness that never changes. The earth's shake and the promise to shake both heaven and earth point to the inner movements of your own attention. When you cling to outer forms—results, reputations, appearances—you are living under the Earth-wind, and you will feel the tremor of scarcity or fear. But when you turn, in imagination, to the God that is within you—the I AM that speaks now—you let the old, shaken forms fall away. The "yet once more" signifies the clearing away of created conditions that are merely transient supports. Those things that cannot be shaken are your abiding state of awareness, your true nature as the unconditioned observer. By assuming and feeling from that state, you shift your experiences into alignment with the unshakable reality of I AM, and the external world reorganizes to reflect it.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, assume you are the I AM speaking from heaven within you, and revise one limiting belief until it dissolves. Then feel-it-real that this inner state is already present and shaping your outer world.
