Viewed in the silent theater of your own awareness, Hebrews 12:24 tells you that Jesus is the mediator of a new covenant and that the blood of sprinkling represents the living current of consciousness that cleanses from the old sense of separation. Abel’s blood spoke of injustice and the human need for atonement in outward time; the blood here speaks of a higher order, the purification that comes when you rest in the I AM. The mediator is not an external man, but the inner awareness that bridges your old self with a new state of being. The new covenant is a shift from striving to being—an inner agreement that you are already reconciled to God, one with your true nature. When you inhabit this inner covenant, you release fear and judgment and permit the sense of unity to fill the heart. Let the imagination feel and inhabit the reality that you are nucleated in the divine I AM, and that your life speaks from that certainty rather than from lack. The blood and the mediator are your present consciousness acting now.
