Biblical Context
Faith enabled the people to keep the Passover with blood, protecting them from destruction; by faith they crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, while the Egyptians attempting to follow were drowned.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this scripture, faith is not a future event but your present state. The Passover with blood is the inner sign that you are protected by the I AM, that you refuse to let destructive beliefs touch your life. The 'firstborn' is the old image of separation—ego-born fears that would claim your vitality. By keeping the rite in consciousness, you align with the Life that courses through you, and thus you awaken to your sovereignty. Then the Red Sea becomes not a physical sea but the great inner barrier of limitation—old habit, doubt, and lack. When you move in faith, you pass through as on dry land, because your awareness now stands free, not in fear. The pursuing Egyptians—those collapsing beliefs that would pursue you—are drowned in the sea of your subconscious when you truly hold this state. The miracle is your inner decision: you are already safe, already guided by I AM, and what follows is the outer scene reflecting that conviction.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of I AM as your constant reality; feel a warm, life-giving light at your heart as the 'blood' of protection; then visualize crossing the Red Sea as it parts for you, landing on dry ground and feeling utterly free.
