Inner Image Beyond Shadow
Hebrews 10:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
The passage declares that the law’s sacrifices are shadows of good things to come and cannot perfect those who worship yearly; they remind us of sins rather than erase them.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this text you are invited to see that the so‑called law is only a shadow projected on the screen of your mind. The 'comers' are not outsiders; they are your own states of consciousness seeking lasting acceptance through yearly offerings. Because the offering is forever recurrent, it leaves the inner sense of unworthiness intact—the remembrance of sins is renewed each year. The image behind the shadow is the one you truly are: the I AM, awareness itself, which does not change. When you identify with the bloodless ritual of outward acts, you mistake form for substance; when you rest in the inner presence that already perfects, the need for repetition drops away. The bulls and goats symbolize a consciousness that seeks cleansing through externals; they cannot do what only awareness can do—erase the notion of separation and restore wholeness in your mind. See that true forgiveness is not earned by sacrifice but awakened by the awareness that you are complete in the I AM.
Practice This Now
Assume the state 'I am perfected now' and feel that truth as present reality. Revise the sense of sin by affirming the I AM as your only reality until the memory dissolves.
