Scripture Focus

10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
Hebrews 1:9-10

Biblical Context

The verses affirm love of righteousness and hatred of iniquity, which leads to God’s anointing with gladness, and declare that the Lord laid the earth’s foundations and formed the heavens.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the cry of righteousness and the rejection of wrong are not external judgments but states of consciousness. When you dwell in that inner stance, God’s anointing—an oil of gladness—rests upon you, lifting your sense of self above old patterns. The phrase 'thy God' points to your own Highest Self, the I AM that loves order and hates chaos, now established in you as reality. 'In the beginning' is not time past but the first assumption you plant in imagination: you set the foundation of your world. The heavens are the works of your hands because your inner vision shapes what you accept as true. Thus, creation emerges from inner alignment, and your outward life follows the clarity of your inner state. Neville’s principle: awareness creates form; you are the ruler and the created at once when you rest in that consciousness. The inner certainty of being loved and guided becomes the outer world you call forth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state 'I am anointed with the oil of gladness.' Revise any sense of separation and feel it-real by letting that joyous energy fill your chest and shape your outer world.
