Hebrews 1:3

Biblical Context

Hebrews 1:3 describes Jesus as the radiance and exact image of God, who sustains all things by His power and sits in heavenly majesty after purging sins.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider Hebrews 1:3 as a map of your inner life. Being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, you are the living image of the I AM within. The phrase upholding all things by the word of power is your recognition that your inner word, your daily assumption, sustains every appearing detail of your world. When it says He purged our sins by himself, understand this as the purification of the old belief in separation, an inner forgiveness that dissolves guilt and closes the gap between you and God. To sit at the right hand of the Majesty on high is to take your seat in consciousness, in authority, where Majesty is the center of you. So, allow your awareness to rest in that state, and live as the brightness and image of God in action. Your every experience follows the state you occupy.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, rest in the I AM, and declare: I am the brightness of God's glory. See yourself as the express image and feel your inner word sustaining every detail of your life.
